Stars of sport and TV get behind Hammer’s Charity Challenge
A whole host of stars from the worlds of sport and television have made videos to support the Hammers’ youth section challenge to virtually throw a ball from Twickenham to Murrayfield – a distance of 353 km requiring 110,000 passes made from the safety of the players’ own back gardens!
Sir Clive Woodward, former world cup winning England coach, led the rally of support for the youth players to raise £10,000 for the Friends of Charing Cross Hospital.
Stars including Dan Carter, Joe Wicks, Danny Care, Kirsty Gallagher, Billy Vunipola and Sir Mo Farah are getting behind the club to help them ‘hammer’ their target.
